It’s not ok for me to have a bad day & take it out on someone else.
I did things like that for years… I would treat you like shit… feel bad about it… & then justify it by saying “I’m sorry, I’m just having a bad day”.
First of all… I do believe that happiness is a choice & if I’m having a bad day it’s my fault… not yours.
Next… it’s never ok for me to treat people poorly, even if they have actually wronged me, because resentment is destructive.
The goal for today, don’t have a bad day to begin with, but if I must… then I should keep it to myself!
