I can control my emotions by understanding how they work.
I take a piece of information… attach an emotion… & get a physical outcome.
Example: Someone calls me an idiot… I feel hurt… I hang my head & feel bad about myself.
The first & last parts are out of my hands… but the middle, where I choose an emotion, is entirely up to me.
If someone calls me an idiot… & I choose to be compassionate toward them… then the physical outcome will be Peace!
The goal for today, choose a positive emotion & get a positive outcome!
